Review of Dan Da Dan

AWESOME! - that's the only word I would write about it after the first episode, fortunately DAN DA DAN is not only awe-inspiring, but also unique, funny, engaging and absolutely amazing. The first episode of the series didn't really captivate me, it was plodding along for five to nine episodes and it felt a bit like a boring patchwork, but the second episode picked up a bit and from the third episode I was really into the series (which was only broken by a couple of episodes - more on that later). DAN DA DAN has great main characters, especially Ajase is very energetic andnice and adds flavor to the whole thing, the Conspirator complements her well (I just don't like his talking about conspiracies) and Granny, Turbo Granny, Pink Hair and Gigi are also a great bunch of characters. The story itself is good, the ghost hunts, but also the classic dialogues between the characters never cease to entertain - the only stumbling block for me were the aliens, as soon as they entered the scene, we went down an annoying path full of perversions (oh my God, why?), these passages really annoyed me. The animation may look "cheap" at first glance compared to other anime, but it really suits this series from the first episode - it is as dynamic, energetic and lively as the series itself. In connection with this, I also get to the opening, which is crazy, but you listen to it and get hooked after a few episodes, and the ending was just as cool. This series is literally one of the biggest travesties I've ever seen, but it's great - if it weren't for the aliens, it would be great - I'm still able to somehow overlook it and rate it a five-star.
