Love Agency · review
At first, Renai Daikou seems to be an ordinary rom com, but it's actually a big game of lies and deception by our two protagonists. Sound familiar? The overarching theme of lies and hiding one's true self that's present in several of Akasaka's works is prevalent in this one as well, though so far it seems to be more on the lighthearted side. Plot 8/10: The plot is quite original. There are two protagonists who have very different and traditionally incompatible personalities. They both enlist the help of a so called love agency to garner the affection of the other. Though, it turns out that thetwo people they call are rivals in the field of love advice, and thus the premise is set for an exhilarating comedy.
Art: 9/10
No complaint's about the art. Even though it isn't drawn by him, the art is very clean and appealing to look at. Character design are quite nice as well.
Characters: 8/10
Both protagonists are very heartwarming and somewhat relatable.
Conclusion:
There haven't been too many chapters so far, but it seems like this story is going in a good direction and is definitely worth a read. Being written by Akasaka, I can only expect that there are more twists waiting ahead which makes it ever more exciting.
