Spoiler warning

This review may discuss plot details.

This one’s pretty strange, I am not too fond of it, the concept itself is really interesting but the execution itself is peculiar. My main gripe is that the notion of an unjust, and unfair, world fails; it comments on the morality of the actions done by a main character using the trauma he was victim to while younger to explain why he did as he did, but this doesn’t work just due to how grave his sin is, I understand the idea that his actions were not done without outside influence, but the severity of his original sin and all concurring ones far outweighwhat had been done to him to the point where this idea falls flat.

The characterization of the main character is also really weird to be frank, everything from his reasoning's his past and his actions don’t make sense, and whilst I expect his decisions not be be completely sound of mind due to how his backstory is laid out they struggle to make sense due to how his decisions never make sense how you logically think they should heavily relying on his reaffirmation of faith to justify behavior and beliefs, while not expanding on his faith other than a slight few solitary moments, it just doesn’t really work.

I also really despise that graphic drawn depiction of the trauma endured by one of the main characters at the hand of their father. People aren’t morons they can understand that which has been told to them plainly without such disgusting visuals, it comes off extremely strange and there for shock value or more sinister reasons.

The ending is interesting and I do like the bonus chapter albeit if not for little more then karmic retribution, but overall while the art is nice and the idea around the story is deeply interesting I can not just ignore the strange choices in writing, off characterization, and off putting scenes.
