It's a manga about the traditional Japanese sports of sumo wrestling..... The settings is like that of any high school sports club but characters are different... The girls are big and strong... I love that this manga did something different than the traditional Japanese manga norm. That always portray high school girls are weak, thin, cute and fragile...but this is a Manga where girls are big and strong, rough and tough... It's all right for girls to be big and this manga says exactly that.. that's its cool to be big and strong even if you're a girl... Breakfree from the gender biased and sexism and show the world girlsare just as good in sports.
It promotes women sports and i love it ..
I love this idea that more and more girls play sports...
It's funny and highlight all the issues with women's sports and the problems women generally face with how society want them to be...
