2.3/10 Haaa… where do I even begin with this manga. There’s just so many things wrong with it, and it’s honestly such a huge headache to read. Ironically, I got a headache while reading it, and I gave myself a break, thinking it was just a coincidence, but I picked it back up and another headache ensued. I have one thing to blame: the plot. The plot is so ridiculously half-@ssed and explained. The manga literally adds one too much information at once like the mc’s backstory, his betrayal, circumstances of the kingdom, setting, blah, blah. All of that was squeezed within the first chapter, which wasonly 31 pages long. The 31 pages weren’t even fully informational, as half of it was just sex scenes.. yes, really. The first chapter that most authors spend meticulously on to grab the reader’s attention by setting up a promising story. Instead, the author was like “hmmm, I wonder how I could make the readers love the story. I know! Let me add a random and completely unnecessary fan service part in the middle of everything important!” Jeez…
Yet, even with all those explanations, the plot is just a mess. Scenes just skip here and there with more and more pathetic storylines without taking time finishing the first one. All of the endings are so sudden and rushed that it’s a weird experience.
As for the characters, they are pretty braindead and easy; the female leads love the mc for whatever reason — who knows, it was probably explained, but it was jumbled in with the mess of words in each scene. The mc is also as bland as ever, and he looks like a child because… why not?
I guess if you’re a masochist and want a huge headache, have at this story.
