Sometimes truly great stories arent about a struggle to safe the world or about losing a loved one in the most dramatic way possible. Sometimes they are just about the struggle to lead a normal life, about the struggle of growing up, about the struggle to do well in school or about the struggle of losing a loved one in the most mundane and average way possible. This show isnt action packed like shounen, its not mind-fuck like Evangelion it doesnt have political intrigue or other any other things great anime typically have. Its just a slice-of-life anime, but it is without a doubt one of thebest out there.

I recommend absolutely everyone to give this anime a try, because to me this anime absolutely is the essence of what the slice-of-life genre represents!
