If you like anthology horror series this is definitely your cup of tea! Without giving away much of the main story (which accompanies little Yuuma and his life) nor the "side stories" aka the stories the kid tells us about, it's a really good anthology horror series. What mostly makes me generally have a distaste for anthology horror be it in manga, anime, webtoons, tv shows, or whatever, is the fact that the stories are disembodied, there's nothing linking them, which I know is natural of anthology series but it's something that just doesn't click with me. Boku ga Shinu dake no Hyakumonogatari is different. Little bylittle, at the beginning and end of each chapter we see Yuuma's daily life and how it's progressively changing due to the hundred ghost stories that he's telling us about.
The stories themselves are pretty original for the most part but some others have that hint of folkloric japanese horror that you're probably familiar with. Overall, I'd recommend anyone to give it a try and see, I think the only thing that might put someone off from reading this would be the art style.
