This is absolutely the best season of the DAL anime. What makes it so much better from the previous seasons is the plot twists which were setup in the final episodes of DAL-4. The revelation of who the phantom and the Spirit of Origin is unlocks so much depth in the story by giving us a greater detail of Shido's past and who he actually is and how he got into this situation. DAL used to be a not a very plot-centric anime but DAL-5 has proven that wrong and has made my patience worth its time. I would recommend anyone who dropped DAL midwayto sit through the previous seasons just so that they get to feel DAL at its best!
