Girls' Last Tour · review
I've been avoiding this anime / manga for a long time since I am normally not a fan of post apocalyptic settings. I am sorry to my past self for doing that. This manga has an overarching theme that leaves the manga sitting with you long after you complete it. The themes, main characters, and overall atmosphere carry a somewhat simple and sometimes boring plot. They say that it's about the journey and not the destination. This is one of the rare circumstances where I preferred the destination to the journey. The manga felt very episodic and there were definitely some small plot devices and side storiesthat left me bored. Though, that is pretty par for the course when it comes to slice of life, which this manga surprisingly is.
With that being said, this manga is definitely worth the journey. It is a bit slow sometimes, but the overall experience will be something that you enjoy having had.
