The rating is only for the creative way of how magic works in their world and the really great battle scenes that saved this anime. everything else is mediocre at best. I recommend reading the manga instead, you'd meet more interesting characters later on. as for lloyd, i wish they never took the harem or shote fanservice route. it was hella weird. i was fine with him having like a plump body because some people are plump when young, but having implications of the shota service threw me off, plus the revealing outfits he had later on. nice brainded bingewatch, gg go next i guess.
