Review of Honey Lemon Soda
Honey Lemon Soda - I was intrigued by the title when I started watching it. The premise seemed quite refreshing too. But as the anime progressed, I couldn't hold it together whenever Ishimori cried, and my god she cries a river everytime. Although I do understand her awkwardness but Miura drives her crazy. Almost seems like rather than being confident around the person who gave her strength to be confident, she is nervous all the time. She doesn't seem to be comfortable around him. I can already see their chemistry not working at all. Miura on the other hand is this guy that everyone likes andI still haven't figured out why.If Ishimori was called a stone just because of her name, then Miura deserves this nickname better because his personality is that of a stone.
Ishimori's character development is quite good. I liked how she confronted her past and processed everything and came out stronger at the end. There was scope for Miura character development too could've made him open up more. As an audience we still aren't aware what goes inside his head.
The side character's personality development is better than the male lead is all I would like to say at the end.
