Review of 2.43: Seiin High School Boys Volleyball Team

Spoiler free review :) The first two episodes of this show slap. From there on the show loses lots of its charm. It's not at all similar to Haikyuu (which isn't a bad thing), but I can't help but compare the shows. I'm someone who isn't a fan of slow burn shows, but the plot moves so fast in this show I can barely comprehend what I missed. The lack of any pace makes it hard to follow, and ruins the show for me. It had potential for an interesting plot with well developed characters, but I think the show would have done much betterwith big plot points more spaced out, with time to explore the setting and characters first.

Felt like I was launched head first into a messy plot with no time to process or contextualize.
