Review of Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro
"Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san" is a romantic comedy between senpai "Naoto Hachiouji" and his kouhai "Hayase Nagatoro". The story begins when Hachiouji, who is part of his school's art club, drops some drawings in front of Nagatoro, the problem is that: Hachiouji is not a confident person and shows "afraid" of Nagatoro (who is a year younger than him and also appears to be a gyaru). Nagatoro then, sensing Senpai's insecurity, begins to harass him. Over time, this relationship turns into a light and fun romance to follow. The story in may be a little sensitive for some audiences because, yes, it is about the practice of "bullying".But quickly this relationship (a little toxic) evolves into a romantic comedy) The animation/character design is very beautiful, the traits and coloring of the characters are quite beautiful. The characters are comical and their interaction is priceless. The secondary trio of Nagatoro's friends ("Maki Gamou", "Yoshi" and "Sakura") make everything better.
In general, Ijiranaide, Nagatoro-san is a nice piece of work to watch. I understand that for some, it can be an extremely sensitive subject, but I think it's worth watching a few episodes. I recommend it to those who like romantic comedies.
