Review of Scissor Seven: Xuanwu Kingdom Chapter

Wu Liuqi Zhi Xuanwu Guo Pian (2021) Wow 10 more episodes and now a movie coming and a season 4 it is rumoured also, what a show this must be... The thing is whilst it is a good show it is also not as amazing as it comes across. If I am honest more and more it feels like when I was a kid watching Samurai Jack at breakfast in the morning is now this as an example. The show is fun to watch and easy to get into but by far not at the heights, it is given by people. The art style is verycrude at many times, it is trying to do an anime-style cuteness but just comes across as awfully put together at times. Other times it has good art but only good never beyond that.

The OP of this season is probably the best part of it. The rest of the sound is a good standard.

The characters are all as expected and no one really develops anymore since the story is being dragged like someone is using a plough by hand. It is definitely trying to stretch out the story but it is trying to make the characters at the same time staples of the lives of the viewers. It just doesn't work though.

Enjoyment is good don't get me wrong but the show is about as average as it can be for the most part. It is a good watch and I am glad to see it continue. I would criticise how they make the credits super long for the sake of trying to make you watch them.
