Review of Blue Period

Blue Period is a great coming of age anime that opens conversations about what most youth and young adults contemplate about. It revolves around the idea of following your passion, what you love, rather than the practical and easy way out. It greatly represents the dichotomy between perfection and excellence. The most selling point of this anime for me is how it helps to guide you towards your passion without telling you outright the answers. If you feel lost on what you should be doing with life, Blue Period is a perfect watch that you can finish in one sitting. All the characters are flawedand it is engrossing to watch them compensate to their shortcomings through their behavior and artwork. What makes this anime more enjoyable is how you cannot despise a character. They are all young people trying to navigate a busy and cruel world. You just can't help but root for them and feel sad with them.
