Review of Horimiya

Okay.. honestly I don't understand where's the hate for this show is coming from.. I think It's a great one, I really enjoyed this show and I noticed I was smiling the whole time. I believe the simplicity of this anime is what make it unique. The story was nothing complicated.. I feel like I enjoyed it because as an adult it was nice to look back on high school days and find yourself kinda thinking about the same experiences. This anime doesn't have super dramatic theme on it, it's typical romance slice of life in high school, comedic style but still at adept to whathigh school is , with all those light drama, choosing friends to walk with, love life, crushes, what path you'll go through.. all the uncertainties, all the question that doesn't have answer.. it's quite nice to watch. There a good characters in there that's super relatable, you don't expect a drastic development in course of a year.. it takes time so as in real world.

It doesn't have those complicated over the top visual like sex and boobs, no fan service although all the characters are good looking and pleasing in the eyes; this more a fine tuned reality, it's refreshing and calming to watch .. for my opinion at least.

I mean, I'd say go ahead and watch this if you are looking for something that's now heavy, a light hearted one that will make you reminisce HS. I'm actually looking forward on reading the manga ones I got more time. :)
