It's Snek & pals season 3! Featuring Miku from the Hatsune Miku series and probably funded by Hokkaido's tourism bureau! Well if you're already a fan of the raunchy, often violent humor of Jashin-chan, you're probably gonna watch this anyways, as it is more of what you'd come to expect. Jashin-chan is still goofy and selfish as ever in her antics to get one over Yurine, and her humorous interactions with characters old and new are still the crux of the series. This season however, has some bizarre features such as several episodes back to back seemingly promoting tourism in different regions of Hokkaido, which brings toquestion if this season was in fact funded by their local government.

In addition, Hatsune Miku is somehow shoehorned into every episode, which is no doubt some form of paid for marketing. I have not read the original manga for this series, but I know for a fact that there was no Miku shoved in; still, at least she's tastefully implemented in as both a gag and marketing tool for this rather niche series.

Overall, because of the aforementioned "tourist" episodes that drag on, as well as a VERY lukewarm last episode, this is definitely not the best season of Jashin-chan but it still has it's original charm and laugh at loud, sometimes 4th wall breaking humor. I would still highly recommend this to existing fans who have watched the previous seasons. Otherwise, go and watch the first two seasons first before starting this.
