Spoiler warning

This review may discuss plot details.

This is perhaps the weirdest anime I ever watched, and I probably shouldn't be rating this show so high. But the premise and execution of this anime is too intriguing. I can't say I didn't enjoy my time with it, but it fried my brain cells watching it. This feels more like a student film than a properly produced anime. The concept of machines wanting to become human deep down, and asking what it means to be human is very interesting concept, and it;s execution here is very interesting. It;s also a surprisingly short anime to watch. So you aren't wasting much time if youchoose to watch it. There are elements of uncanny valley, body horror, and you aren't human if you don't ask yourself WTF is happening every 15 minutes. This is weirdly horny for a show lacking both the ecchi, or hentai tags, so some people will be weirded out by that. I'd recommend people watch this at least once, if you can find somewhere to watch it, but I don't know if I'd watch it again. It's also hard to find where to watch it in good quality. Still, I can't say this is bad, because it is a weirdly engaging, and fascinating watch. I'll need to watch something different to detox from this show afterward, something more normal. I might force my friends to watch this at some point, but I'd also be scared to watch it with them at the same time.
