Ayu Mayu · review
Ayu Mayu is one of my childhood favorite manga. It's a romantic comedy with a very very simple (cliche) plot but it's very entertaining to read. Usually, Japanese authors seem to love cliffhanging ending, leaving a hole in the readers' heart, or simply mess up the ending to piss the readers off, but Ayu Mayu went all the way to the end, perfectly completed the story. The protagonists actually slept together and thus the ending feel completed. It also hadn't been dragged on and on like 30+ volumes, like the other harem manga. You can finish the whole story within a day. The art style is mediocre butacceptable. The characters are adorable and they compensated the mediocre arts.
Too bad there's no anime adaptation and probably will never get one, considering how old is this manga.
