Been a huge fan of the NetRunner characters/trading figures for a long time now so glad to finally watch this. Very short and very average, but also legit made me laugh a couple times and the character designs are so strong I couldn't help but be into it. Is it pretty much an ad for the magazine and the figures? Yes, but that also makes it kind of endearing to me. Maybe it's because I have brain damage but I got kind of emotional at the ending too lol. Love the stupid hideous duck siblings, love the crunchy 2000s animation and shitty CGI. Short, funparody of the anime culture of the time, an otaku touchstone for sure!
