Review of Black Clover

Black Clover, Black Clover. What am I gonna do with you? Welcome to my favorite shonen title. A chaotic frenzy of troublemaking magic users, trying to become the greatest magic knights in the kingdom. An atmosphere that really sends you head deep into the fun-loving squad that is the Black Bulls. The characters in this show are what make it so beautiful. Obviously we got our stereotypical shonen characters, the sociopaths, the tsundere, “the edgy rival”, etc. Though, when it comes down to it, there’s way more iconic, completely new tropes being made in this show, to this day. I have a special connection withalmost every character in this show in some way, because they either have a really cool unique power, or they have a really outstanding personality, with a really fleshed out (but really good) backstory.

I know I’m basically spouting what every single shonen is like, but there’s an atmosphere to Black Clover, that’s just different. You gotta see it for yourself!

Also, if you’re one of those people that are really annoyed with Asta’s screaming at the start of the series, suck it up and wait. It stops pretty soon after a couple episodes, and you’ll be missing out on some amazing arcs, just because of a kid screaming. Kinda cringe if you ask me.
