This story is generic which involves five boys who have auditioned and been put into an idol group in their school and they must compete to be placed into the music department. but it is very enjoyable. i don't mind a generic story as long as it's enjoyable since i know how hard it is to find an enjoyable anime when you've watched most of the good anime already. my only complaint is for an idol anime, the main character, hoshitani is the most plain and basic looking character ever. the other 4 are attractive. since it's an idol anime i with they would make hoshitanibetter looking
