This is my first time writing a review so do not expect much. It felt like a waste to just keep watching amazing anime that people worked so hard to create to then just score it based on a number and then move on. Nagi no Asu kara is a beautiful anime with amazing animation and visual effects. While watching this anime I felt so many different emotions. There were times where I was happy and even times where I felt depressed while watching the anime. The beginning of the anime started off really strong with the introduction of an amazing underwater village and 4great characters. The main protagonist, Hikari, reminded me of Natsu because they both act first and think later. Most of the characters in this anime have a vital role except Kaname who barely gets any lines even though he is one of the main characters.

I really liked the first half of the anime and was exited for what was to come. However, then a twist occurs and the entire atmosphere of the show changes. It goes from being a super fun happy anime to a sad and depressing one in just one episode. In the second half of the anime there were times where I just wanted to skip ahead to see what would happen because I felt like it was going too slow. However, after watching the very satisfying ending, I understood why the twist had to happen. It is kind of cool to see how the mood in and anime can change so quickly.

This is a romance anime that uses the love triangle element, but instead of being a triangle its more like a hexagon. This might sound like the romance in the anime is complicated, but it really is not. By the end of the anime, the romance conflict is settled.

The main characters in the anime are 14, but often times they act like either 8 year olds or mature adults. Some scenes felt overly dramatic because of the way they were written.

The music for this anime was amazing. There were so many wtf moments that would occur near the end of episodes and then you would here the ending song(ed). The ed definitely helped amplify emotions. I can not imagine having to wait for a new episode every week.

CONCLUSION

This anime is about love and what it means to be in love. People always struggle, but they continue to dream of a brighter/happier future. Love can be painful, but it can also be kind. From an evolutionary stand point, everything is from the sea( even love). Love can cause pain, but loving someone isn't useless because love is what makes us human
