As an advert I must say this was excellently done even though it tells you very little about what it's advertising. The advert itself is a connected flow of scenes that takes us through several anime genres without ever dropping the common look and feel, from realistic train to sci-fi flying machines to a recovered-dystopian building that finally welcomes us in. The animation is really high quality, with a lot of key frame sequences packed into a short clip. The music helps boost that warm feeling, whilst not memorable it still fits the visuals very well. Whilst not lifted directly from and animes it makes you want to searchout these genres and explore these worlds.

Overall it gives you a heart-warming feel and you feel pulled along on this journey the character is making through several fantasy coloured landscapes of her imagination.

It really sells the joy and happiness that Kyoto Animation hopes to inspire and made me want to visit even though it did nothing to show the 'shop' or and physical merchandise - it sold 'the dream', which is what a good advert should do.
