I enjoyed this series, but it might not be for everyone. Story: It's your overly cliche story, boy meets girl, boy saves girl in robbery, boy dies and becomes a dog due to his love of books...seen it a thousand times....okay not really, I liked it, it was a different play on the story I felt. Has like a lot of anime a bit of pacing issues, and hope we get a second season, but been a while, but I feel it would be worth it. Art: The art is simple, but works not necessarily anything terrible in it. Characters:this is a strong point, but if you don't like these type of chars you may not enjoy the anime, everyone has personal issues and a bit over the top.

Enjoyment and over all: I did enjoy this series, I'm a bit of a sucker for animals, and becoming animals so well I'm biased, but it's interesting and different enough that I feel it warrants a watch.
