Review of My First Girlfriend is a Gal

I'm not sure why this anime got so much hate. I have watched a ton of ecci and harem animes, way more than I care to admit and trust me- this one is actually pretty good. Even the romance is decent. From the start you don't really like many of the characters. Even the MC is too bland. What sticks out is his girlfriend Yukana. They make her really hot, like REALLY REALLY hot and sexy. But she's more than just looks- she's actually got good characteristic traits. As the show progresses it fleshes out each character and you begin to love each one. Again,it ain't a master piece, but it does it well enough for me to enjoy the show. Hell, even at some point I was tearing up a bit and towards the end (non spoiler don't worry), my heart was getting tugged. I know that it deviates way too much from the manga but for fans like me who only watch anime, I guess ignorance is bliss (the manga story is apparently much better). I still loved this anime regardless, and it's one I can sit back and re-watch again in the future.
