Ever since Gundam Build Fighters ended, I was enjoyed from beginning to end. But when I watched Tri, I was very disappointed and I dropped it half-way because that show was really bad. When Divers was announced, I was skeptical about this new show, but when I watch it, it feels like a breath of fresh air and I enjoyed it. Let's see if I can sum it up... Story: The story is like your standard typical anime; the MC enters a VR world, the villain plans to take over the VR world, and it's up to the heroes to save the world from the forces ofevil. Pretty straightforward. And to be honest, the 1st half of the anime was kinda enjoyable where as the 2nd half of the anime gets convoluted with plot holes, plot armor, so many fillers, and an arc that is very unnecessary. Overall, I didn't enjoy the 2nd half, but I do liked the 1st half.

Art:
The art in this show is very good for the most part. So many detail on the Gundams, the colorful world, and the world building is fantastic. Sunrise Studio knows how to make good animation.

Sound:
I didn't bother with the sound because I really have no idea to talk about it.

Characters:
As for characters. The primary characters, including the MC, for the most part, decent. Riku is a good character to a certain point of the anime. The 1st half make me like him because he is relatable character that you you wanna jump into the world and experience it yourself. But when the second half hits, it made me not like that character anymore. As for the side characters that is with Riku, I have mixed feelings. Yukio is a good support character and he's a good range fighter. As for Momoka, I just didn't like her for the most part of the show. She's very annoying and picked one of the most stupidest Gundam in the entire show. What character I hate the most is Sarah. She is nothing but a plot device and she does absolutely nothing for the majority of the show. There is 2 more characters that joined Riku's team, but I do have to admit, both of them did nothing to impact the plot. The 1st one was Kouichi, and he was...ok at the most part, but the 2nd one, Nanami, teamed up with them very late of the show that she is unneeded but appeared because of fanservice. The villain on the other hand is actually a good villain that I actually want to support and see them succeed instead of the heroes where he has a relatable motive and has one of the most badass Gundam in the entire series. As for the support characters, I actually enjoyed them more than the MC that I wished they would've given more spotlight. Magee, Tigerwolf, and Shahryar are the type of characters that you want to hug them, mostly Tigerwolf with his outgoing personality, unique character design, and a guy that I would love to team up with. They would ever make a spin off that would focus on those characters, I will watch it. What shines this show the most is Ayame as she is one of the most likable and best girl in the entire show. I think both Ayame and Tigerwolf are characters that I deeply enjoyed the most.

Overall:
All I can is, that I hate to admit, It's better than Tri, but not great than the OG Build Fighters. If they were to make season 2 or make a spin off that focuses on the 3 I mentioned, I would watch it. But still, I enjoyed Divers from beginning to end, despite its flaws.
