Review of Tsukigakirei
Tsuki ga Kirei is probably one of the best romance anime i've watched, it approaches an elementary school relationship in a very realistic and relatable way which made me feel like this could happen in my class back in my elementary school days. It's story is one of the best I've seen in the romance genre, and the best thing about it is it's pace. Tsuki ga Kirei is one of the few shows of its kind in which the main couple does not take an eternity to confess to each other. And the only thing that I openly dislike about theshow's story is the ending as, in my opinion it was very unrealistic and did not fit.
I have nothing against the artstyle, but I feel like studio feel overused CG, and it happened to really break immersion in some ocasions. I can understand using it to create big crowds, but CG was used even in creating still shots. Furthermore, it is one of the worst CGs i've seen, so don't expect ufotable level of 3d animation.
The soundtrack is very good and fits the atmosphere of the show, I'm not really into sound and music so I'm not ble to say anything besides this.
The show's characters are really good, and are almost perfect portraits of elementary school students. Their emotions feel natural and real, making the situations they are in feel very relatable. This also makes them feel like real human beings, and not only characters created for a show.
Overall, Tsuki ga Kirei is a very good, enjoyable show and one of the best romance anime I've watched so far. I definetely recommend it for any kind of anime fan that is searching for this kind of anime.
