Review of Overlord II

WHAT THE F***, like WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. The second season of Overlord, in my opinion, was amazingly... horrible. Starts off dreadfully with uninteresting and dull lizardmen, ends with no meaningful impact on the story whatsoever. I'm not complaining about less Ainz, I'm complaining about how long it took for this to finally get to a watchable pace. Absolutely boring until around Episode 7 and up, which are still quite mediocre. Season 1 was a billion times better, please don't waste your time being excited for the second season of Overlord, because it was not good at all and ruined my expectations. I still stuck withit, though, since I really like the characters of Overlord as a whole. I painfully binged through Season 2, desperately waiting for it to get better; Alas, my wish was never granted as it only got more and more uninteresting with its corny new characters and awful romance with totally unnecessary CGI nonsense. The dumb blonde kid was so cringey and uninteresting, along with his love interest. The attempts at humor were painfully just not funny, like oh my god... I thought Overlord would be better than this on its second appearance. I guess you have to watch S2 to be up to date with the story, so have fun making your way through this absolute disaster. Argh, I love the characters that we have from S1, but.. no. Not S2. Just.. no.
