Review of Sword Art Online

This show isn't something astounding when you compare it to so many other anime. However it does hold a special place in my heart being the first isekai I had watched. I found the plot so interesting before even watched an episode being the lover of futuristic anime I am. I was let down a bit with the anime but it's not nearly as bad as many people have ranted about imo. Yeah sure, the character design is weak and kirito is op af with basically no personality (basic for isekai mc ig) but the anime as a whole is not bad at all (can'tsay the same for season two though). After I have watched a fair share of isekai I can guarantee SAO is not the worst. It's basic and characters have almost no personality but the plot WAS interesting and was enough to get me through the whole show. Also a solid ending that left me mostly satisfied. In my opinion everyone should give this an anime a try bc of all the varied opinions on it. You could be missing out on such an amazing anime bc one of your favorite anitubers said something negative about Sao. See for yourself if this is a type of anime your interested in because one of the great things about weebs is that we all have different opinions. Also the intros r fuking bops. oh yeah and also don't watch season 2.
