Review of Saekano the Movie: Finale

The movie on its own was very enjoyable for me. (excluding the LNs). I feel it tied up the buildup of S1 and S2 very well. I did feel that the character growth in a few cases was accerated (possibly due to the movie being a condensation of 6 LN volumes). The coclusion of the romance between the main couple was presented nicely IMO but I am partial to happy endings and clear conlusions. I was apprehensive when there was "haren" listed under themes. I find those harem animes where the MC doesn't make a choice at the end very unsatisfying for me, but thats personal preference. Whilethe whole story including S1 and S2 would be a rom-com, the movie is more Rom than com, which is not entirely a bad thing considering it's tying up the loose ends which it does well enough.
