Review of Akira

Short Review: MASTERPEICE. 1988!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How is it possible that such an amazing movie was made so long ago. Story: 9/10 Awesome plot, it kept me interested the entire time. There was no part that I felt was rushed or was too long. From the beginning to the end it was engaging. Art: 10/10 Its crazy that this movie was made decades ago. The animation is superior to many anime now. The art fits perfectly to the movie and the ending "transformation" scene is out of this world! Sound: 7/10. Good soundtrack Character: 7/10. All of the main characters are unique in their personalities and they fit welltogether. Also Tetsuo and Kaneda are written perfectly. The hidden meaning behind there relationship is beautiful but the characters looked the same

Enjoyment: 8/10. Loved the beggining and the end

Overall: 9/10. Masterpiece that shows how the people of Japan felt at the time of the nuclear attacks and how they went from a destroyed country to one of the most advanced countries in the world.
