Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion

One of the fundamental series in anime history. Apparently it looks like a typical anime about mechas, but as the chapters go by, the plot moves into its characters,their fears, traumas and the reasons that lead them to pilot some organic robots who have a soul and that they are handled through mental and sensory synchronization with their pilot. Evangelion is an anime that marked a milestone, until then it was not usual to find series that disguised a complex background under an appearance of typical shonen about fighting robots. 'Neon Genesis Evangelion' entertains through a work that seeks to be deep (although sometimes it dedicates todeal with simple and topical topics in a convoluted way so that it seems super dense) and that is full of external references.

I really do not see important flaws in this, it seems to me that everything is at a very high level, all the characters are taken care of, full of nuances, it does not matter if you like them or not (for example, Asuka is unbearable to me), they all contribute to the plot, the rhythm is wonderful and the planning and images is powerful and innovative. I especially want to highlight the atmosphere of this series that, together with certain musical pieces, creates magical moments.

[Spoiler about the end ->]
On the very commented final, well, it's true that it has many loose ends (which are dealt in the movies), but I liked it a lot, I think the last two chapters are fantastic, I only dislike the final shot in which everyone congratulates Shinji for understanding himself as if he was in an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting.
