Review of Waiting in the Summer
Story: 10/10 I'm not a super pessimistic critic, plus I really only watch animes that I'll know I'll somewhat enjoy. This anime was seriously one of the best I've watched though! The beginning left a sense of wonder, but it set up all the characters and who would probably eventually get together. The episodes throughout gave us good character development, and the ending made me a bit teary-eyed, which (for me at least) is a sign of a good anime and I really got deep into. Art: 8/10 Art is nothing special, though I quite liked it. It fit the anime well and it wasn't super realistic orweird like some romance animes. The few fight scenes in the anime were done pretty well, but nothing crazy. Overall, art style is nice and doesn't bother me at all.
Sound: 4/10
In terms of the opening and ending, they seemed pretty lackluster to me. I'm not a fan of slow songs or songs that aren't very catchy, I like upbeat songs. I found myself always skipping the opening or ending, which, well yea, ya know.
Character: 10/10
This, in my opinion, is one of the anime's strongest points. The characters had personality and the MC was someone I could relate to. The side characters as well kept true to their personality and I really felt feelings for them. Anyway, I really loved the characters in the anime :)
Enjoyment: 10/10
OMGGGG, the comedy in this anime is GOLD! I laughed out loud so many times, it hurt. Especially with the MIB and another scene where I just bursted out laughing so many times! The drama in this anime was really enjoyable as well and it kept me wanting to watch more. I binge watched this anime in two nights, unfortunately, but I'll say that it's kinda hard to get the feels when you have too many sessions of watching this. You kinda have to binge watch animes like these to really feel for them and understand what's going on.

I don't find these kind of animes often, which is why I just straight up gave it a 10 because I just loved this so much and I got the feellsssssss. Any anime that gives feels, in my opinion, is good. Well, I liked it, but people probably don't like it as much as me xD This show really reminded me of Golden Time, which is also another favorite of mine because of the drama and character development.
