Review of Hunter x Hunter
This is just a good shonen anime overall. It's got everything as well as adding it's own things. When it peaks it peaks high, just out of nowhere, going beyond the typical shonen. Each arc has got its own quirk and while some say that the first few episodes are bit of a wait until everything gets good (trust me it gets too good), I'd say if you go into it for the fun and adventure then you'll get exactly that feeling from the very beginning. It's just a joyride. The characters are great, Togashi just decided to go full throttle with each character, most notablythe villains. The animation is just clean throughout. The story is fun and in a certain arc, Togashi just decides to go beyond with it and I certainly am amazed by it. Some say the arc is slow, in fact they say it's tedious and even brings the arc down a lot and just that the peak moments of that arc keep it on a high standing. But, lemme tell you that when you get into the groove of things, it ain't gonna be like that at all. It'll be like a movie. The beginning'll feel nice, like 'wooh! Here we go on another adventure!' and then steadily you'll get more and more depressed. It's great!
Moving on, uh what else, the music! Yea dudes the OST pulls through and that opening theme, oof, it's too iconic.
