Review of Black Lagoon

If you like constant thrill and feeling your blood pulsing and pumping through your veins like never before this anime is perfect. The story in itself is as original as you can have it in my opinion giving you a great feeling of the corrupted world and how government and people who hides in the shadows are not really different. This anime creating the capital of bad guys all over the world feels great. It captures everything you want creating a story that you want to follow through the end. There is not one episode that this anime has that i didnt like. The moreyou watch this anime the more you deeper in the darkest pit you will see. Nietzhes quote about" if you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back at you" sums the this anime up perfectly. As this is the first season is part about how Rokuro and Revy getting to know eachother but also progress and shows how the city in this story really is both from the view of the living but also the view of those who are dead.

The soundtrack makes my blood run wild and pumps it like crazy it feels so fun watching this thrilling anime while you see every kind of scum of the world shot at each other for reasons of their own and sometimes no reason at all.

I generally have a hate for main characters who takes the entire series to become great. But this main character Rokuro/Rock is in the middle of the it he is never overpowered but when you start thinking he is weak you will be surprised at how crazy and fun a main character can be. Revy his partner is a perfect example of a female mc character who just have everything thats fun to watch. Wicked personality , fun humor , and exellent with any weapons that she hold. Sure there are other characters who i should be talking about but these two characters are the most important and also ones that creates a dynamique few anime can even come close to.

This is one of those anime i just think its great i want more and more i cant remember how many times i have rewatched this but im getting close to my 10 time i think.

Overall there is nothing i dislike about this anime i love everything about it the action , the character , the music the art , i cant find a thing wrong though the only sad thing is that i want more as i write this i will also write an review to the other season and the Ova thats called Robertas blood trail. I could give it a 10 but i think 9 is what it deserves for what it gives us.
