Review of School Days

School Days. It's a disturbing psychological anime. You would go through multiple strong emotions while watching this, the primary one being hatred. Towards the end, you'll be like "Just kill this person already" (not going to spoil who) with each passing episode. It begins with a typical romance. You would say it tries to be too typical, in fact, with a high school love triangle where friendships and relationships are delicate. Things progress. Midway, the story becomes a bit thick. From a typical romance, it's now a high-level complicated high school drama. Quite the mind-bending type. It reflects reality to a great extent. In the end, the storybecomes nasty. Basically, I asked for a lighthearted romcom with a happy ending in a Google+ community when someone recommended me this. My response to that someone after finishing it was:

I told you to give me a "lighthearted" show..... You gave me a dark, psychotic story...... I needed a "happy" ending......... You gave me a bloody disturbing ending............. Thanks to you, I'll be traumatized for the rest of my life.................. Thanks....................

That's School Days for you. I'm not sure whether everyone can take this. Please avoid any spoilers before you watch it. You would either love it or hate it to the core. I don't know whether the risk is worth taking.
