Review of Shakugan no Shana: Season I

Shakugan no Shana is one of my favourite animes of all time. I fell in love with both Shana and Yuji when I watched them both in the very first episode. In this anime, the world's balance is guarded by extremely powerful guardians who go by the name of Flame Hazes and as the name suggests they use fire in order to burn away the Crimson Denizens, beings who try to consume the existence of human beings.In order to become powerful, Flame Hazes make contracts with Crimson Lords who wish to maintain the balance. Yuji Sakai is drawn into the war against the Flame Hazesand the Crimson Denizens, forever changing his life. This show has everything, from love triangles to the wise cracking Marchosias, a contracted Denizen Lord in the form of a spell book. The sound tracks of this series is amazing as we have the talented Kotoko, Altima and Mami Kawada lending their awesome songs such as Light My Fire, Ill Believe and Joint. A must watch for anyone and everyone.
