Review of Hunter x Hunter
Watching HxH as a kid was one of the greatest pleasures I had. Getting home from school, finishing my homework till 7 pm then turning on the TV to Animax. First of all, let me just say that the musicality of this anime was superb. From the OST itself to individual soundtracks used throughout, it all complemented very well the action and plot. The individual characters also provided enough depth of what they want to get out of being a Hunter (Killua aside). Gon's naivety and Killua's realism showed two sides of the same coin that progressed well through 7 seasons. Leorio, Kurapika, and theother supporting characters also provided contrast and maturity to the show. Given that it was already limited since the show primarily circulated around Gon's reason for becoming a hunter with the other's coinciding every now and then, there is much potential if ever in another alternate reality, the producers would continue with a Season 8 (albeit under the provisions of Togashi's health).
