Karigurashi no Arrietty in my opinion, is one of the finest movies of the anime world. It has this captivating atmosphere that would make you go all 'woaahh!' or 'ohhh!' throughout the process of watching. It's about a soon-to-become extinct species known as little people; they live just the same way humans does. Except that they're cute little chibis hiding from them. The art? Perfection. The creative detailed art would make you pause and simply observe the way everything was fit and drawn so specifically and accurately, the art seriously made me go 'vhujikld' the whole time. I don't know if it's because I haven'twatched an Anime series for so long, but trust me in this, the art is beautiful.

What is most important is the no-sexism feelings put into this movie. I hate how Animes sometimes display women characters as weak/fragile humans on Earth, so this movie totally satisfied me. The characters are so slice-of-life, and each character has her own aspect. They were simple, average and relating type of characters.

Creativity, realism, fantasy, awesomeness, fluffiness, everything was just there. What could you expect from a Studio Ghibli, now? They have that unique 'thing' in their movies that always attracts your full attention; I gutta give my two thumbs up for this one.
