Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai is a wonderful bubble of emotions, ready to pop once you give it a shot. Without spoiling the story too much, the main theme of this short story is loss, and how this affects our main character and his friends. Although the premise isn't anything special, the story is executed wonderfully and therefore it keeps the show going in a meaningful, yet not a rushed way. The art is beautiful, although I've seen better, it captures the scenes portrayed in this anime very well, and adds to the atmosphere of the story. Speaking about atmosphere, the soundin this particular anime is absolutely outstanding, it grips your heart and slowly lets go, just to do it again. Both the opening and ending are also extremely impressive, especially the opening.

The characters are what you would expect from an anime like this, although all of them are in one way or the other likeable and you can understand their emotions very well.

Overall the anime was truly amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who would like a tug at their heartstrings. I personally thought it to be impossible to cry within 11 episodes, but boy, I was wrong...
