Review of Paprika
You may have heard from others who had watched this show that for the most part, it's not supposed to make sense, that or "it is uncanny just for the sake of being uncanny," and they would say that understandably so, but it didn't really appear to me that way. It is, though, in a fundamental level, truly questionable, and I think that's one of its charms, it makes you watch the movie more, to get answers, which also interestingly, doesn't just come at the end, but throughout the film, and to make you deliberately sympathize with the events. What made me score it 9is that, well, it appealingly delivered its intended features. I won't be conceited as to say that I know the message, for certain, that it is trying to convey, they clearly meant to obscure it. I can, at least, tell that despite being a fantasy genre, at times it felt real.
