Review of OreImo Specials

This is my first time writing a review, and apparently, the guidelines mentioned not to write any spoilers. However, I would still explore a bit of the Oreimo story since it is what made me like this Anime so much. I would write the review intended for people who plan or have watched the anime until the end (S2). In life, especially for youth, normally people would want to have a good outlook in life, a better future, goals, and etc. However, everything would not always go well in life. Sometimes we have regrets, and sometimes those regrets would haunt us for the rest of ourlife.

I particularly like the kind of animes that taught us the morality of life, specially targeted for youth. They taught us a very important thing about life growing up: to not have regrets for the future. In Oreimo, it is displayed through the relationship between Kyosuke and Kirino throughout the series.

The most beautiful aspect of this anime for me is the concept or idea of the siblings' relationship that grows throughout the anime. The actions that Kyosuke did and the initiative that Kirino took eventually enlighten them on what they are missing in the first place, and fully understand how to live their youth life without having regrets.

Albeit there are controversial ideas in this anime, it is imperative to understand that for youth, exploring new things and fully being themselves are most important to live a life without regrets. And in the end, I bet they would reminiscence about the past fully knowing they did what they thought the best for them, and would be more confident in walking their own path of life.

P.S. I don't really like how reviews are written in MAL because, for me, the most important part is the moral of the story. Meaning that I would normally write the story summary and explain important highlights on why this anime is better than the others for example, compared to other aspects of the anime, such as sound, music, character, etc. Because for me those things come naturally and are just extras that extend the quality of the anime through the core idea. Since that is what I would normally remember after watching an anime.
