Review of Durarara!!

This show was one of a kind. Durarara was a show that considerable blew my mind. The main focus and driving point of this anime was the plot. How every little event that happens in this city of Ikebukuro connects with the rest of the characters which forms this huge plot was just mind blowing and was truly intriguing to watch how it was all going to end. I will admit though the few episodes in the beginning of this anime was slow, but how everything connects and how the plot thickens with each episode were truly marvelous to witness. All the characters were allso very interesting and fun to know. They all had their backstories and intriguing roles in the plot. They all had their unique quirks and what made them special. The main focus of this anime would be in this city of Ikebukuro, there is no main character in the story. Some could say that every key character in the plot is a main character. Some others might say that Mikado was the main character but I lean more on how everybody that was a key person in the plot in my eyes were the main characters. This anime shows the depth of every character, whether it was useless to the plot and still make it interesting. The art style of this wasn't bad and I could enjoy it. My favorite character in this story would first be Kadota aka Dotachin. I found him to be quite a cool guy and I want to just talk about my feelings with him. You know just a bro. My second favorite character would be Shizuo. My man is built like a fucking truck and destroys everything he finds unpleasant but he is a good man at heart who can be quite kind to others, as long as they don't get on his bad side. I found this type of character quite cool and respectable. Overall this anime was roller-coaster of emotions to me and was quite a thrill to watch. 9/10 (This is a review on both seasons of Durarara.)
