Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

I decided to watch this anime cause I heard it was made by the same people who made Toradora (one of my fav animes) and plus it has romance and I like that kinda stuff. With Ano Hi Mita, I was kinda left feeling a little whatever if that makes sense. Like it was a good anime but it didn't really leave much an impression for me. If anything maybe I felt a little depressed afterwards. Its a good story. Pretty normal, nothing too crazy. The art is the best thing going for this anime. It beats Toradora withthe overall designs.
Sound is basic, nothing too special
The characters are basic too. Excluding Menma, the group consists of a boring main, an upbeat big guy, a serious nerd girl, a self-conscious trendy girl and a giant asshole.
Overall, It was an interesting but pretty sad anime that i would not really put under romantic. I will probably forget this series pretty quickly if imma be completely honest but don't let that stop you from seeing it!
