Review of High School of the Dead
I want to share my experience with this anime, I rated this anime as an 8 when i started this anime, but the more episodes I watched the worse it got. I ended up rating this with a 3. Story: There is no story whatsoever for this anime. the plot sounds interesting at first, I mean a zombie apocalypse anime just sounds great and it could have been great. the shows starts while they are in high school a zombie attacks, great beginning for the first few episodes, then they got out of high school and the whole story is just a blur after that untilthey get to an apartment with basically a zombie apocalypse survival kit, then they arrive to a mansion where there is an established resistance and then they leave. That is the story, the end.
Art: Nothing yo highlight here it is just your very standard anime, nothing breath taking, they just tried o put hentai characters into an anime, nothing else to see here. I would actually had much more enjoyment watching a hentai instead.
Sound: Voice acting was ok, I guess, nothing to highlight again, the sound effect for boob bouncing was just dumb. Some voice acting makes me want to kill a bunch of the harem girls and other characters.
Characters: In a brief summary, this anime tries to make characters as deep as what you can see in the upskirt frames of the girls, but they all just end up being as superficial as the girlls' boobs. These are my opinion about the main cast.
- Takashi Komuro: The protagonist, he has more personality than a hentai character, that is about it.
- Rei Miyamoto: I honestly thought that this character's name was Hisashi because it is the only thing that she says for the first half of the show, they try to make her look like a pro at killing zombies just to be saved by the protagonist almost every time.
- Saeko Busujima: They try to make her a deep or bad ass character just for her to fall for the main character. That's it, she has a sword. they also try to make you think that she is the sexy character, but since all the girls seem to be drawn by hentai artists.
- Saya Takagi: She is the most annoying character, the worst anime tsundere, the voice actress made an excellent job of making her sound as annoying and loud as possible. If you thoufght that Asta from Black Clover was annoying for yelling a lot; this is the character that perfected annoying yelling years before Asta. They want you to think that she is a genius, but she is just a character with average intelligence in an anime where everyone is retarded, so I guess that works.
- Kohta Hirano: The only likable character from the show along with the protagonist and the little girl from the group.
- Shizuka Marikawa: She is the nurse from the high school, I could say that she is a character that is only there for fanservice, but when all the girls seem to come from Hentai, there is not much point to her character anyways.
- Alice Maresato: She is likable becuase she is not a hentai girl character.
Enjoyment: It just went from to 3 as I was wrting this review becuase the more I thin about this show, the worse it gets.
P,D, I compared this anime to Hentai because it seems that tries harder to be a hentai than being an ecchi becasue from the ecchi that I hav watched, none of them try so hard to deliver fanservvice.
