Review of Demon Lord 2099

You really can't trust the scores on this website anymore, huh? This is hands-down the best "demon lord" anime I've seen. It's fun from start to finish, with two extremely fun arcs that have pretty much everything you would want from something of this genre. The characters are likeable, with the main character obviously being overpowered - but nothing too over-the-top. The story is solid, exciting, and makes sense. What's nice about the story here is that they basically split it into two mini-seasons. It almost felt like watching two different genres of anime. The action felt pretty good too, even if I would not say it'sthe main selling point of the anime. What really sold it to me though, was that despite all of these things, they still found room for some comedy. Yes, some of the decisive action scenes are a bit corny at times. But considering they only had 12 episodes to work with, you honestly can't complain. Especially when there isn't a single boring episode.

Definitely give this a try. Easy 9/10. Really hope this gets another season.
