Review of The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made

HELL YEAH ISEKAI ANIME, YOU'RE EXCITED RIGHT?! RIGHT?! When I first watched the trailer of this anime, I thought it has interesting premise, get isekai'd and got gorilla as waifu. I thought it would be a funny isekai comedy, but boy oh boy, Did I expect to much from isekai anime. This anime has a lot of problem both on technical problem and story problem. First of all, the story, I think you can give an aspiring novelist or a highschooler to write story better than this crap, this anime don't know where to take the story. In one episode they introduce new character, next episode introducenew character again, and guess what in the next episode? New harem girl unlocked again. boy oh boy, would I be delighted to be the mc of this anime. new harem girl every episode? heck yeah buooooy. And another note, this anime always joke around themselves every episode, cool, must be funny right? yeah it's funny on the FIRST EPISODE ONLY AND THEN USE THE SAME JOKE OVER AND OVER AGAIN, the joke is really cringey, the delivery is bad, the animation doesn't help either.

Okay, moving on from the atrocity of the story, lets talk about character shall we? Here, we have Hiiragi Seichi: a fat loser in real life that got isekai'd and have OP power just from eating big nuts (yeah, big nuts of evolution that produce c*m if you eat it and level upgrade). Wooah the dream of otaku right?. This mc doesn't have any depth at all, he's just making random faces that's so ambiguous that you don't even know what the heck is he feeling, is he scared? is he horny? or maybe scared and horny?. Even in the span of 12 episode He doesn't get a character development in the slightless at all nor he posses qualities that makes him good or different from trash isekai mc. The Others character aren't any different, Saria the gorilla after becoming a girl, become simp to mc, Big titties tomboy girl become simp to mc, The donkey MC bought? simp, the knight? Simp, The loli girl? you guessed it simp. oh my oh my the dream of otaku that never touched grass.

Even if we cast it all of these problem aside, there is still problem you can spot. Yes, the animation is FUGGING HORENDEOUS, It's like every scene is animated by different animator without proper coordination, you can notice every quality drop when the scene changes, heck the faces of MC sometimes look like kirito, or orimura ichika, or shiba tatsuya depending on the qualities of the animation. Every movement in this anime is pretty limited and toned down to basic that looks like my college assignment in animation, Facial expression is fugging ambiguous, you can't tell at all what really happens, the atmosphere doesn't really change even in critical situation, the bgm is almost the same everytime.
There is almost no redeeming qualities of this anime, not even the OP and ED, Maybe they shoul allocate their budget into the animation instead of hiring Shimono Hiro and Hanazawa Kana as Voice actors, which still doesn't help the anime, the voice acting still sucks because of how horrible the lines and story is.

Final verdict: The trash anime that every otaku who never talk to girl will like. 1/10
