Review of Food Wars! The Fourth Plate

The 4th season of the show basically centered on the battle against the elite 10. I started watching from S1 again and getting to the end of S4 was very satisfying. Most plot points were sorted and the end, while a little hard to believe, was pretty positive. What I really liked was the development of the characters I'd been following from the beginning especially Tadokoro Megumi and Erina Nakiri. They both ended the story as very different people from the beginning and it was nice to see the evolution. Azami made for a great villain and his motivations were actually believable and somewhat sympathetic. Theanimation was top-notch as usual and the music was stellar. Due to the constant battling, it did feel a bit repetitive at times and the final fight required all my suspension of disbelief to handle. Beyond that though, this was a solid season and I look forward to S5 which I think is the final one.
