Review of Sing "Yesterday" for Me

Yet another first review used on this show. Really incredible that they had me so seriously for almost the whole season (despite not developing like, the two critical secondaries and one of the protagonists), character regression and slow burn and all, and then completely ruin the ending. Honestly would’ve been a 7/10, maybe even 8/10, but the last two episodes made me want to pull my hair out. Outstanding. If you watch it, stop at the end of E10. You’ll be thankful. To be clear: I liked the main protagonist’s development, I guess; but why was everyone else in this stupid love zig-zag so stagnant? Everytime I finally, *finally* thought they were changing, we went right back to zero. And I wouldn’t even mind the secondaries being flatter, I guess, since they’re romantic rivals (lol) whose infatuations with their muses were juvenile and needed to get shot down eventually. The characters felt pretty real! I laughed out loud a few times! And then everything got imploded, and now only the negatives are sitting in my head. This is a bad review, it’s just a rant. I’d have to revisit the first ten episodes already to remember the main good things about the show, and I literally just watched the whole thing. Christ.
